Soapbox Race returns to Lydden for 2024

The soapbox race is back for 2024 and this time it will be bigger and better than ever before!

We have started planning early for next years soapbox race as we are keen to get as many competitors as possible to race throughout the day. The event will be held on Sunday 31st March 2024 at Lydden Hill Race Circuit, during the break between rounds 1 and 2 of the 5 Nations British Rallycross. Competitors should expect a course made up of chicanes, obstacles and much more amongst adoring crowds as they race for the fastest time and the top prize of £200!

In addition to the soapbox racing, you will be apart of a bustling motorsport event, the paddock will be packed with 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship teams along with plenty of locally sourced, freshly made food & drink on offer.

Next year we are hoping to be joined by teams from local schools and colleges, racing teams, small businesses and sports clubs all competing for the £200 and an opportunity to show off their creative side with prizes for the most creative soapbox design. We are excited to host this event again and help organisations to promote their businesses whilst having a fun and an exciting day of racing.
